Abstract [eng] The aim of this research was to investigate electric and photoelectric properties of newly synthesized bicyclic derivatives with aromatic compuonds. In order to compare the new 9 bicyclic compounds, they were split into three groups by their solubility in different solvents (dichlorethane, tetrahidrofuran and chloroform). Then the photoluminescent properties of solutions were investigated. In further research the optical properties of layers formed by drop casting and thermal vacuum deposition methods were studied. It was expected to find a correlation of optical response between all 9 bicyclic compounds, but no similarities were found. It was determined that optical stability of the layers with No. 1-4 materials formed by thermal vacuum deposition were caused by 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazon. It seems that during evaporation process impurities stay in crucible and the evaporated molecules are stable and do not break down while the impurities stay in layers formed by drop casting. Compounds No. 7 and 8 differs in H3C link which cause the increase of optical energy bandgap. Also symetric compounds (No. 1, 2 and 9) had a tendency to pack similarly in both drop casted and evaporated samples. In conclusion it was determined that twisting of the molecule in a solvent is caused by the bridges of bicyclic compounds and side groups attached to it. Different bend of the molecules and choice of the substrate define how the layers will form.
