Abstract [eng] The Doctoral dissertation analyzes the aspects of Bona Sforza’s, the Queen of Poland and the Grand Duchess of Lithuania, (1491 Vigevano, Italy–1557 Bari, Italy) economic activity in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in regard to restoring the Jagiellonian dynasty’s material resources and financial strengthening. The ruler’s spouse’s influence in the domestic politics and her increased activity in appointing officials were peaking until 1548, the death of her husband, through whom she operated. She provided important posts for her people, however, she did not gather a strong circle of proponents. After 1548, her influence started to decrease. The thesis analyzes the expansion of Bona’s property network in the eldership of Pinskas, Podlachia, and the eldership of Grodno, the Volhynian lands, ethnic Lithuania and Samogitia, as well as different ruler’s relations with separate land holdings. Bona carried out economic reforms which stimulated changes in agriculture throughout the whole Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The majority of Bona’s land holdings in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania consisted of lands donated by Sigismund the Old, as well as the dynasty’s lands repurchased by Bona. The property which was temporarily ruled by the young Sigismund II Augustus also significantly added to Bona’s lands. More than 40 people administered Bona’s property network in the 3rd–6th decades of the 16th century. In the 3rd–6th decades of the 16th century, the number of Polish people among Bona’s officials increased, however, they never dominated over Lithuanians and Ruthenians. The processes of recovering the Jagiellonian dynasty’s property, the revision, as well as centralization of the ruler’s government took place in Bona’s extensive lands.
