Abstract [eng] The purpose of this research is to create an Excel tool that would be useful to assess the return and attractiveness of investment projects in wind farms. The tool helps to evaluate the variables of the investment project and to model the scenarios suitable for the unique cases of the investment project. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set: to perform information analysis and find out the main characteristics of investment in wind farm projects; to analyze what incentives for renewable investment projects, especially wind farms, exist both in Lithuania and in Europe; to analyze the main challenges faced in the construction period of the wind farm and the main parameters that must be assessed before the development of the wind farm project; to analyze possible evaluation methods of investment projects and to select the most appropriate method for the evaluation of investment in wind farms projects; to develop a multicriterial evaluation model of investment in wind farms that would properly reflect the attractiveness and efficiency of investment in wind farm development projects. The analysis of the literature and available information as well as the development of a multicriterial evaluation model lead to the conclusion that wind farm construction projects are profitable projects generating the financial return, but their implementation requires careful preparation and research of various factors - some development steps may be critical and failure to make them may stop the further development process of the wind farm. The results of the research can be published only with the approval of the author.
