Abstract [eng] |
Oligo(ethylene oxide) thiols and sulphides are the main building blocks for self-assembled monolayers. Derivatives, functionalized with glicerolipid, biotin and cholesterol groups are the most popular tools used in attachments, further development and investigation of artificial membranes. In this work monoprotection of glycerol by p-methoxybenzylalcohol was optimized, allowing separation of products by simple extraction methods. New glycerol compounds, with different blocking groups, were synthesized. These perspective derivatives are convenient for the synthesis of unsymmetrical lipids. An effective synthesis route of several steps and isolation method without column chromatography for the synthesis of thiolipids were also discovered. New functionalized biotins were synthesized for tethering of biological objects. Vibrational bands of new 4,4ʹ-disubstitute-1,2-ditholanes were assigned by the theoretical calculation and analysis of potential energy distribution. Stable cholesterol cyclic disulphides – tethers for model membranes, were synthesized. New cholesterol markers for research of artificial membranes were designed. |
