The article seeks to present publishing production of Vilnius University Library Heritage Collections and Research Centre in 2010-2014 and to substantiate why catalogues of exhibitions or particular historic collections and publication of source-books could and should be valued as a scientific publication. Research articles, studies, forewords included into these publications reveal their originality, value, possible use, importance in the context of Lithuanian science and culture. Each document before it is being published has to \"come a longway\".This way comprises selection of publications, creation of bibliographic descriptions and annotations, screening of illustrations, compilation of indexes, scientific research, and conclusions; besides, use of a still fresh method in Lithuania in Cyrillic scripts - so called „fingerprint“. |
