Abstract [eng] |
The theme and object of this Thesis is human, the expression of ones body in a form of a dance and relations with other humans. The Theory part of the thesis overviews the historical conception of the human body and contemporary understanding of dance. I analyzed the influence that mass culture and modern technology has in human interaction with others as well as the destruction of our self-identity. I also examined human personality as described by philosophical theories. I looked for movement, existence, human body, and body expression similarities in the works of other artists. The information collected was adapted to create and further evolve the exhibits of this collection. Masters work is made up of 10 artworks of the same digital format, created using Digital techniques. Adobe Photoshop software was used in the creation of the composition. Collection „Connections“ investigates how in the current state of humanity, everything around us is becoming indistinguishable, and various objects as well as unique features are no longer personal, but a societal problem. The artificial interaction between people is generating huge discussion as to what really matters in our lives and what is acceptable in today’s society. Every bodily movement is in itself an interaction with the surrounding world and the expression. |
