Abstract [eng] |
Sample preparation is the most time and labour consuming analytical procedure. Recently, intensive research has been conducted to search for faster and more efficient sample preparation methods for analysis, their research and practical application. The goal of present work was to investigate the possibilities of headspace gas chromatography for the determination of some short-chain carboxylic acids and hexanal in solid and liquid matrices and to apply the developed methodologies to the real samples analysis. Results consists of two sections. The first section describes derivatization and headspace gas chromatographic determination of carboxylic acids. The second section describes headspace gas chromatographic determination of hexanal which is applied in edible oils. A methodology for the determination of hexanal from fat rich foods using deep eutectic solvents and microwaves is also presented. The doctoral dissertation is written in Lithuanian language, illustrated with pictures and tables. The dissertation consists of eight chapters: abbreviations, introduction, literature review, experimental methodology, results and discussion, conclusions, list of publications and list of references. |
