The main purpose of this master thesis is to reveal the impact of organizational support and work performance on the behavior of employees in the organization. The thesis consists of three main parts: literature analysis, empirical research and its results, conclusion and recommendations. Literature analysis reviealed concepts of organizational support and perceived organizational support, employee behavior, motivation, commitment, involvement and work performance, as well as the constructs of procedural justice, manager support, reward and recognition, identification with the organization, emotional commitment, intention to leave work and self-efficacy. The empirical research was carried out with the aim to investigate the aspects of organizational support and performance of the organization's employees and to verify the esearch model. A quantitative research was performed at the telecommunications company both in Lithuania and Northern European countries. The author had sent out 323 questionnaires and 146 were returned. The main purpose of this survey was to evaluate the impact of organizational support and work performance on the behavior of employees in the organization. The analysis proved statistically significant (p<0.01) substantial causal relationships between model constructs. Cronbach α was 0,926. The tested research model revealed the impact of organizational support and work performance on the behavior of employees in the organization (R2 equals to .639, Spearman‘s rho equals to .747). The research revealed that organizational support benefits the company. The conclusions and recommendations summarize the main concepts of literature analysis as well as the results of the performed research. |
