Abstract [eng] Detection of disinformation still poses great challenges in Lithuania and around the world. In this period, with so many events taking place: pandemic situation, wars, unstable economic situation, favorable conditions are created for disinformation to spread. Disinformation strategies change over the time, adapting to different audiences, using different channels and unexpected tactics. After analyzing the scientific literature, information was found about the communication channels through which disinformation spreads. Furthermore, there are studies on disinformation spread by Russia and its goals. Other researchers examine disinformation differences and similarities across countries. However, there is a lack of information about disinformation spread by specific interest groups in Lithuania and abroad. Therefore, the subject of this master's thesis: communication of the interest group as Lithuanian Family Movement in Lithuania and abroad. The research problem of this master's thesis - does the interest group of the Lithuanian Family Movement spread disinformation that correlates with the Kremlin's disinformation narratives? Therefore, the aim of the work is to find out how Family Movement interest group communicates, possibly spreading disinformation in Lithuania and abroad. The method of qualitative content analysis was used for conducting research. Overall, the results of the research showed that communication of the Lithuanian Family Movement interest group correlates with the Russian Kremlin`s values like traditional family, Christianity, attitude against the Covid-19 vaccine. However, we cannot claim that Russia is spreading disinformation through the Lithuanian Family Movement interest group. For that we need evidence. Also, one of the goals of spreading Russian disinformation has been found: to undermine trust in the leaders and institutions of Lithuania. Lithuanian Family Movement groups criticize and encourage to resign the country's institutions and mainly the government. However, we cannot claim that it is result of Russian disinformation. Finally, it is very important to distinguish values that correlate with direct influence coming from Russia. To conclude, the results of this research show that the values of the Lithuanian Family Movement interest group correlate with the values and goals of Russian disinformation, but we cannot claim that they have a direct influence.
