Abstract [eng] |
This paper examines the communication of the Chinese diplomatic missions in Lithuania, France, and the United States towards Lithuania after the opening of the Taiwanese mission in Vilnius on 18 November 2021. Applying theoretical models, the content published by the Chinese missions is searched for narratives about Lithuania. A coding scheme model based on information wars, narrative analysis, and genre theories is presented and applied to analyze the selected materials. The coded data is analyzed; the categories identified are used to identify the narratives about Lithuania repeated by Chinese diplomatic missions, which are used to highlight and describe the Chinese narrative about Lithuania. |
