Abstract [eng] |
This work attempts to answer the question of how disgust shapes morality and politics. The relationship between morality and politics/law is also examined, using the taboo phenomenon of incest as an example. The question is raised as to whether laws should serve morality or whether morality should influence law and politics. In this work, incest is defined as consensual sexual relationships between adult blood relatives. Examples are used from countries where blood incest is punishable by criminal law (Lithuania is not one of them). |
