| Abstract [eng] |
The present master’s thesis analyses formation of an optimal investment fund. A theoretical part focuses on the essence of investment funds as well as on formation of an investment fund as a unit and its securities portfolio including the key approaches used for securities portfolio optimisation. Moreover, it reveals the theoretical characteristics of the portfolio formation and possibilities allowing combination of the fundamental and technical analysis respectively. The research also contains a financial analysis of Šiaulių Bankas AB and a legal analysis carried out with respect to investment fund formation. The provided analysis continues with the chosen countries’ ranking and evaluation of the stock market indices and companies of a fundamental country. A technical analysis of the share price diagrams has been conducted to determine the forecast of the stock price fluctuations. According to the results of the fundamental and technical analysis it was decided to form the investment „Šiaulių banko SGX 10“ fund from the stocks of 10 companies belonging to the Health & Care index on the Singapore stock market. The most optimal options for the conservative, moderate and aggressive investment fund portfolio formations have been figured out using the SOLVER solution platform. Finally, to estimate formed investment funds their results have been analysed after a period of 4 months. |
