Abstract [eng] The theoretical part of the Master’s Thesis analyses the structure and sources of residents’ income. Income is defined as an index reflecting consumption capacities of an individual or a family and as an indicator of the country’s both socio-economic and social development. Substantial income determinants have been singled out. The practical part analyses the disposable household income per member per month, the average net monthly salary, the unemployment rate, the gross domestic product and direct foreign investment per resident, as well as the trends and differences of their changes in the counties of Lithuania. The clustering of counties by economic factors has been carried out. The author’s hypothesis of the scientific research has been confirmed: the structure and dynamics of the income in different counties of Lithuania have significant differences which are determined by the factors such as unemployment, gross domestic product and foreign investment per resident.
