Abstract [eng] Currently in the large diversity of health concepts are lack of attention paid to the consciousness element of this concept. In todays‘ society, in which the cult of consuption are established, approach to health as an object of consumption are forming (Grubliauskienė, Vaičekauskienė, 2013). Health consciousness are important to resistance of health and consumerism relationship. Although health in society are represented as a value, but in real-life situations and life stories are obvious lack of consciousness of health. Lifestyle studies gives much attention to investigate smoking and alcohol consumption, nutrition and physical activity, but the public attitude towards healthy lifestyle is always changing, so it is important to determine what kind of conscious healthy lifestyle formation assumptions are in today's society. The object of this study - Conscious formation of the healthy lifestyle aspect of nutrition and physical activity. The hypothesis of this study - Adults consciously choose healthy lifestyle: nutrition and physical activity. The aim of this study – To investigate the conscious formation of healthy lifestyle context of nutrition and physical activity. The objectives of this study: 1. Healthy lifestyle concept analysis of the scientific theory works. 2. Find out adults eating habits and physical activity features. 3. Investigate adults approach to a healthy lifestyle and the interface with a concious and healthy lifestyle. 4. Acording to the research prepare recommendations about forming adults conscious healthy lifestyle in aspects of healthy diet and physical activity for healthcare specialists. The study participants (respondents): 216 employable age adults (between 18 and 63 years old). Knowing that the selected groups under investigation characteristics are representative of the entire population (Kardelis, 2005), was formed a simple random sample, in various Lithuanian cities were randomly interviewed 18 to 63 years old adults. 250 questionnaires were spread, 216 were back fully completed (reversibility 86,4%). Number of sample incompletely reflect to the potential populiation application of research results interpretations, therefore, the study revealed facts can be regarded as a characteristic of signs of the trend to population with conscious healthy lifestyle. Research methodology and methods: I. Theoretical methods: • Theory of Reasoned Action • Theory of Planned Behaviour • The Stages of Change Model II. Empirical research methods: • Quantitative study conducted using the questionnaire in writing. III. The study of data-processing methods: • The research data was processed using IBM SPSS 20 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) program; • Open questions of the questionnaire were analyzed by content analysis. • Graphical analysis has been done in Microsoft Office Excel 2013. The analysis of the questionnaire survey has shown that members of society know what is nutrition and physical activity, also they comprehend nutrition and physical activity benefits to organism and concider nutrition as a foundation of healthy lifestyle. Respondents believe their nutrition habits are positive, it was clear that only few of them follow the principals of nutrition, the majority of people would like to change their eating habits. It was also clear that adults are just partly physically active. They state, that the lack of motivation and time and health issues are the reasons that they are not physically active. Found out that respondents percieve what is health and health education and consider health as a value. Adults believe that in educational institutions should be given greater attention to students' nutrition, physical activity and motivation to choose healthy lifestyle, but adults in their families puts more emphasis only on the importance of a nutrition. The hypothesis has been raised, that adults choose healthy lifestyle consciously: healthy diet and physical activity. The hypothesis was confirmed after analysing the research data. Adults have enough knowledge about health, that they would consciously choose healthy lifestyle.
