Abstract [eng] The present MA paper examines aspects of knowledge management in the change management of organization. The conceptions of knowledge, knowledge management, and change management have been analysed. The key elements of knowledge management have been investigated from the technological, human resource and procedural perspectives, there is a comprehensive review of an impact of knowledge management on the change management, focus is put on the aspects of successful interaction, its measures, methodology and problematics. After a theoretical analysis of knowledge-based change management of organization, it was pursued to empirically assess the change management of organization under investigation, by applying the elements of knowledge management. The qualitative research strategy has been chosen for the research implementation, by applying a case study method. Having generalized the obtained research results, it was found out that the aspects of change management and knowledge management were valued in the organization under investigation. This is revealed by a measurable focus put on a strategic documentation. Processes of knowledge management in the organization take place quite well, nevertheless, the following demerits could be emphasized: there is a shortage of clearer distribution between roles and responsibility for the implementation of particular activities of knowledge management. Furthermore, it has been noticed that the organization culture is not yet fully favourable for the sharing of employees’ knowledge and experience, as a competition among employees evidenced by a non-disclosure of information and knowledge is observed. This reduces the possibility of successful alteration.
