This research paper focuses on the personified semantic roles present in popularized scientific texts in English and Lithuanian. The systemic functional approach deals with the communicative process of expressing experience via text by applying various resources of lexicogrammar provided by the language and the sentence is the medium of communication. Descriptive and componential analysis methods were employed in the present study. |
