Abstract [eng] One of the lanthanides application field is upconverting (UC) materials. Because of their remarkable and unmatched optical properties, the lanthanides are under the limelight when it comes to high technology. UC materials have been the subject of intense research in recent years due to their unique ability to convert low-energy photons into high-energy photons. As a result, these materials have numerous potential applications, including bioimaging, cancer theranostics, optoelectronics. One of the most significant areas of progress is expected to be in the field of bioimaging. The ability of upconversion materials to convert near-infrared light to visible light has already shown great promise for enhancing the contrast of biological samples, allowing for improved visualization of structures within living cells and tissues. The goal of the dissertation is to develop new inorganic materials, that could be used as upconverting luminescence security pigments. The results described in the thesis consist of four main parts: (1) K2Bi(PO4)(MO4) matrix doped with Yb3+ and Er3+ ions and K2Gd(PO4)(WO4) matrix doped with: (2) Yb3+ and Ho3+, (3) Yb3+ and Tm3+, (4) doped with Yb3+, Tb3+ and Eu3+ ions. The optical properties of the synthesized compounds such as reflection, excitation, emission spectra, decay times and other optical properties are decribed in each part.
