The article focuses on the usage of the Internet in mental wars. By comparing the life cycle of memes Polite people (Russian: Вежливые люди) and Russian warship, go f*** yourself (Russian: Русский военный корабль, иди на***) the models and conditions that ensure the communi- cative expansion of memes are described. The deconstruction of the intentional structure of the Russian warship meme and the influence of context on the realization of its intentions are also discussed in detail. |
