Abstract [eng] Author of the work in his investigation analyses question of regional peculiarities of motivation structure and work organization ways of a team work, as the most efficient, arrangement, that is extremely urgent in the management of today’s companies and general education schools. Respondents of the investigation are 219 employees from different type companies and general education schools from Siauliai city. Aim of the investigation is to establish motivation structure and tendency of Siauliai city employees’ participation in joint activities. The basic tasks of the investigation were to establish motives of joint work of the employees, to find prevailing groups of motives, their purposefulness, to disclose interrelations between team work motivation and professional performance motivation and to work out methodical recommendations on the team work stimulation questions for the Siauliai city companies and schools. Theoretical basis of the investigation is grounded on a mutual determinism attitude and theories of basic joint work motivation. Questioning, as the basic work method, was chosen for the investigation. The instrument is made of a specifically modified questioning, based upon The FORD Motivational Assessment test. In the investigation I also applied theoretical analysis and mathematical statistics. The results were processed using SPSS 11.0 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) software and showed trend of acknowledgement, achievement, new social status obtaining importance and emotional satisfaction incentive, related with the need in professional growth and domination in the motivation structure of Siauliai city employees, without denial of the need to stimulate team work motivation in management along with use of benefit seeking and social safety incentives, stronger influencing the employees’ determination to work in their profession and in a team at company.
