Abstract [eng] Sustainable development education is a lifelong process.A sustainable development education sratategy is based on integrity of environmental protection, economical and social development. Sustainable development education in Lithuania is a response to a chalange of quickly changing world to improve the quality of education and to grant possibilities of self-education for everyone. The aim of the work. To analyse the implement of sustainable development education sratategy in comprehensive schools of Radviliškis region.In order to achieve it, there was a research carried out to find out the opinion od pedagogues using the method of questionnaire and the opinion of experts, interviewing them. Ater the empyrical research in coprehensive schools in Radviliškis region has been finished and representatives of several groups: pedagogues, students and experts, the following conclussions ca be made: Sustainable education is understood only by some of the respondents. It should be noted that ideas and attitudes of sustainable development education and their spread in comprehensive school is not suficient, because students and their pedagogues have a very superficial knowledge of it. Ideas of sustainable development education sratategy teachers most usually implement during lessons and in after-curriculum activities. During the lessons, the attitudes and problematical questions are integrated to the school subjects, in after-curricular activities they are integrated in events, projects, competitions, students also afirmed that in their answers. The main criteria which could help to implement sustainable development education sratategy, reachers, students and experts name competence and continuous learning. The fact, that many respodents marked the importance of qualification and knowledge, shows that teachers need to raise their qualifications, to be interested in new methods, look for innovations in their work and to involve their students to work together. In order to develop their knowledge, teachers have to find out their requirements of studies in order to choose appropriate contense of the seminars and courses and could be evaluated as important, not only taken because it is necessary. More events, shares and other means have to be held in order to introduce the society of Radviliškis region to the ideas and provisions of sustainable development education. Then it would be possible to expect ballanced all community activities.
