Masters at Work is carried out cultural activities affect quality of life and social cohesion in the development of research in the area of Siauliai. In the first part of the work there were set the theoretical analysis of strategic management, defined the concepts of the quality of life, social cohesion and analyzed the theoretical aspects of the cultural activities. The second part deals with the EU and Lithuania's policy in the cultural sector, legislation, programs and cultural context. In the third part of the work by the assessment of the level of the cultural activities in Siauliai district, there were provided residents access to libraries that are better than the accessibility of cultural institutions, but worse readability level of the population. Expert evaluation raised the following main aspiration in cultural activities of the district in order to improve the quality of life and the level of development and social cohesion: fix the infrastructure of cultural institutions and cultural heritage, maintaining an inventory of cultural institutions and work to attract young, skilled professionals. |
