Abstract [eng] |
Theme of existence is like an immense, endless, insoluble dilemma, one of those everlastingly relevant themes. In our times, in our rushing wold, when young people seeking places for themselves climb on a mass scale into spiritless, homogeneous “boxes” of blocks, the existence of human being, according to author’s assumption, is becoming an actual and important theme. The „Egzistencijos Rubikonas“ (“Rubikon of Existence”) is like an incarnate aspiration to express existencial intricacy in artistical creative activity. A human being is impermanent in this world and that can’t be changed by any social order or norms. The temporality and impermanence of human existence – this is the most important problem of existentialism. The issues of existence evoke human being’s anxiety and aspiration to defend and struggle. The human being is constrained to choose, to seek for his way of life. This is an essense of existence. Sometimes, when seeking for that way, you have to overstep the Rubikon and then there is no way back. You must win or die. |
