The begining of the economical recession caused either the decline of banks‘ credit portfolios either the degradation of the portfolios quality. However there are no many scientists who analyse the influence of the economical recession on the quantative and qualitative changes to the banks‘ credit portfolios. There forein this Master thesis the main porpuses are to identify the influence of the economical recession on the credit portfolios of Lithuanian banking system, discover the trends of changes and distinguish the factors causing the dynamics of portfolios. Using the statistical economectric methods, e. g. The evaluation of analitical factors of time series, multiple regression and the economical interpretation of the results, thees sential results would be that decrease of the financial state of households and businesses during the economical recession caused the degradation of the credit portfolios‘ qualities and the decline of the credit flows to economics of Lithuania. The changes of the mortgage prices are significant factor that explains those changes of credit portfolios. |
