This paper examines how the European Convention on Human Rights and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union contribute to the realisation of the challenges of the Green Economy. It analyses how the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of Justice of the European Union find a balance between environmental protection requirements and the freedom of economic activity. |
