The aim of this master degree is to reveal the attitude of students from Siauliai higher schools towards the changes in higher education management. According to this aim, scientific literature and documents regulating higher education and studies have been analysed. Therefore, the examination of the attitude of students towards the changes in higher education management and alteration in studies have been implemented. As it has been unfolded, the majority of Siauliai university students critically assess the pursued higher education and studies reform. Sponsorship and solvency questions are predominantly valued as the negative ones. The examination has shown that the majority of respondents blankly assess the changes in higher education management. According to the opinion of the students under the study, the process of Lithuanian higher education and studies reform is too hasty. The instalment and loan system are also negatively valued, however, most of the students agree to “study basket“ principle. Respondents have valued the beginning of the reform negatively, though, the majority have assumed – the reform was necessary. The formulated hypothesis of present scientific research is proved partially as students from higher education institutions realize and consent to necessity of higher education and studies’ reform, but negatively assess the pursued higher education and changes in studies. |
