The master thesis analyses heating systems and its marketing specifics, central heating supply – as the supply method in line with public interests – concept, the institutional structure of legal pricing regulations of the heating supply sector, overviews the development of the central heating supply sector in Lithuania and influencing global energy sector development trends and renewable energy ideas. The paper analyses the factors that promote and inhibit apartment and public administrative buildings renovation. Additionally, we analyze the environment protection requirements for energy sector. The thesis identifies how the expansion of cogeneration increases central heating supply sector efficiency and decreases heating costs. The postgraduate paper provides the analysis of “Radviliskio Siluma” Ltd. utility conveyance optimization, the analysis of rates, and the results of investments applied to the heat production and conveyance network. We provide our practical suggestions on how to promote effective heating energy usage in the consumer community. The paper performs scientific analysis on author’s hypothesis which states that outdated heating supply network, inefficient heating production, energy inefficient public and apartment buildings are the proof inability to act. |
