Abstract [eng] Goals. To analyze and identify municipal and corporate governance features of the New Public Management (feather-NPM). To evaluate the theorical and practical aspects. To analyze the management options for municipal enterprises of Radviliskis district. Objectives. To form the concept of New Public Management of municipal enterprises of Radviliskis district. To reveal the various author’s views on the basis of various Lithuanian and foreign scientific literature. To establish management functions of the New Public Management of municipality of Radviliskis district. To research the attitude of local business leaders to the situation in governance of companies in NPM approach. The investigation showed that in the introduction of NPM managers have identified the key factors of higher quality service to residents and activities focused on results. As the main interference to the SPM introduction to institution reforms are indicated bureaucratic interference. Analyzing the experience of management assessment is found, that managers allow subordinates to provide ideas and suggestions and help to implement them. Managers are standing heads of authority to subordinates and are never headed by formally. Implementing objectives managers trust in their subordinates and carry out the implementation with staff and advise staff providing the opportunities for distance learning, training and courses, give the possibility to organize conferences, to invite lectures to the companies meeting their needs. Analyzing the opinions of local establishments were highlighted the positive attitude of employees to the possibility of learning and grow. It was indicated that staff plan ts activities in order to meet companies needs, managers enable their service recipients to participate in making managerial decisions to provide suggestions and ideas.
