Abstract [eng] This master’s work deals with problems of strategic management according to balanced scorecard system in the field of special education. Analysis of theoretical and practical works is presented and system of special education in Radvililiškis district and Šeduva gymnasium is given. Pros and cons of strategic management in special education, ways of its development according balanced scorecard system, experts’ opinion about situation of special education in Lithuania are presented. As a a result of detailed research of special education in Seduva gymnasium balanced scorecard and strategic map are done. The scientific hypothesis was proved: taking in concert the importance of strategic management models in development of an Seduva gymnasium, it is necessary to choose the appropriate strategic management model, in order to enhance organizations competitive capabilities to develop.
