The aim of the research was to investigate the situation and the possible improvements of public service quality administration in Taurage County State Tax Inspectorate. The theoretical analysis revealed the concept of quality public services and the development trends in Lithuania and other European Union countries, identified stages of public service administration process and influencing features of implementation factors. The research results’ analysis allowed to formulate the conclusions, that the quality of the public services in Taurage County State Tax Inspectorate are fully regulated and planned, various quality initiatives, measures and quality management models are well organized and implemented. The service provide monitoring, evaluation and control are implemented by the combination of various central and local control assessment methods. Improving public service quality, the institution outlines specific measures, makes decisions to take over foreign experiences, participate in European Union projects. The obtained data can be used to improve the public service quality management in Taurage County State Tax Inspectorate, also can be applied to practical activities and the regulation of public institutions seeking to improve the quality of public service administration. |
