Cardiovascular disease is the main reason of European women and men deaths. Due to these disease dies 4, 35 million of people in World Health Organizations in the countries of European region every year. In the countries of European Union dies about 1, 9 million of people. Cardiovascular disease occupies the First Place in morbidity. It s the reason of disability and the quality of life but we can avoid it. From these disease dies every second European citizen and 30 percent of deaths up to 65 years. WHO provides that the number of deaths will increase from 7, 1 million in 2002 to 11, 1 million in 2020. The main factors of cardiovascular disease are smoking, increase in arterial blood pressure, high cholesterol, malnutrition, low physical activity, overweight, obesity, Diabetes mellitus, alcohol, psychological and social stress. Hypothesize that patients who are suffering cardiovascular diseases in “Jurininkai” Hospital in Klaipeda have the same risk factors as in literature analysis in Lithuania and beyond. The analysis of risk factors will help to improve management system of health risk factors. The aim of research is to identify the main risk factors of cardiovascular diseases. To reach this objective a few tasks were carried out: 1) to overview of cardiovascular diseases; 2) to identify the main risk factors for these diseases; 3) to determine patients` knowledge about risk factors; 4) to give cardiovascular diseases risk factors to set management and self – control system draft. 150 patients of cardiological profile with cardiovascular diseases participated in the research from the Rehabilitation Department of “Jurininkai” Hospital in Klaipeda. The method of questionnaire survey was done to investigate the main health risk factors of patients with cardiovascular diseases. The questions have been submitted about addiction, nutrition, physical activity, lifestyle, emotions and knowledge. The statistical analysis was done by SPSS program. The main conclusions of empirical research: 1. It` s determined that the morbidity age of cardiovascular disease is 61 years and older. 2. The majority of the respondents state that the main risk factor of cardiovascular disease is high blood pressure. 3. The men who smoke and use alcohol are statistically more than the women. 4. It` s spared little attention to nutrition, physical activity, healthy lifestyle. 5. The hypothesis is confirmed. |
