Abstract [eng] The master thesis provides the analysis of aspects of labour discipline and employee performance incentives as its security means. Following the valid legislation (pursuant to the current version of 30 March 2008), some of them projects and the collective agreements of chosen companies’ the paper aims at the determination and investigation of employee incentives, discovery its application theoretical and practical peculiarities and exploration employee performance regulation in other countries’ Labour Codes by comparative aspect. The thesis consists of two parts. The first of which analyses the relation of labour discipline and employee performance incentives as its security means. The second section focuses on the issue of the brands of employee incentives means, which are regulated in Lithuanian and other countries’ legislation, also in companies’ local legislation, and the peculiarities of these means’ application. To sum up, it may be emphasized that application of specific employee incentives means’ in particular way suppose to act as motivation to work well and high-performance, herewith to follow labour discipline, which result would be preventive abstention from improper actions avoiding the breach of work duties whereby is offended for settled labour order. Even though first at all it is necessary to create well-disposed legal base developing application incentives means, which practically there is not in Lithuania yet.
