Abstract [eng] Modern tractors, cars, and other self-propelled machines – are complex mobile machines for agriculture, transport and other tasks. Cars adapt to drag trailers and semi-trailers are called tractors. Tractor or truck with one or more trailers is train car. Chassis is transport, to which the trailer sits all sets. Chassis wheel rotation change to the car's rolling motion, mitigate impacts resulting from driving on uneven road surfaces, suppresses body roll. Trailer chassis consists of the frame, axles, suspension and wheels. Work purpose – trailer chassis for individual structural elements of strength study. In work, to achieve the targets, the following tasks are solved: an overview of the different chassis design; analyzes tested trailer chassis design; with program “SolidWorks” plotted tested chassis model; conducted individual nodes analytic calculation of the strength; with program “SolidWorks” model of strength analysis is performed; analyzed and compared the obtained results. In this work was analyzed investigated trailer chassis design and found the weakest link in its place. It is the neck of the lever axis. The neck of the axis has been studied in two ways: analytical calculation and with program “SolidWorks”. The results showed that an increase in dimension of the neck of the axis just 1,4 %, can increases load to 12 %. In my work theme I read the report in Šiauliai university faculty of technology 8th international scientific conference “Young scientist’s works”.
