Abstract [eng] Analytical modeling of the bicycle structural integrity test is quite complicated target due to enveloping behavior of pneumatic tires. It happens if the wheel of a bicycle is rolling over the road irregularity with short wavelength. The response of such a rolling (e.c. variations of forces acting the axle) is quite different in comparison with variation of road profile height. That is why the excitation of the dynamic systems (i.e. bicycle) is not equivalent to the road surface height and the effective height must be found. The work presents the theoretical research on response of a bicycle wheel rolling over short wavelength asperity by using different effective road surface height functions.
