The higher education system is the most important part of educational, scientific and cultural, social and economic development in each country. It’s social responsibility in modern society is only growing, because all the success and quality in activities depend on the specialists training. Lithuania, after becoming a member of European Union in 2004, integrated into the process of Bologna, which aim is to create a common European higher education area and in accordance with common tools and guidelines to achieve higher quality and affordability. This aim requires more careful evaluation of the country's higher education quality and its improvement. It is likely that each higher education institution teachers are involved into the performance evaluation process, but student’s approach on it is not less important and the achievements and gained competence reflects the quality of higher education. |
