The theory of work is based on literature analyses of different authors (Makauskiene, Ivoskuviene, Shapiro, Peters, Guitar and others). It exposes conception of stuttering, methods for overcoming the stuttering, singularities of communication between parents and specialists. Empirical survey is implemented in coordination of qualitative (interview) and qualitative (written questionnaires) methods targeted to analyse the opinion of parents and specialists regarding the help for stuttering children. The statistical (frequency descriptive, averages, Chi-quarto criteria) data and content analyses were implemented. Quantitative survey consisted of 200 specialists (speech therapists, psychologists and neurologists), the qualitative survey – 10 participants (parents of stuttering children).Empirical part of work include: description of methods and strategies applied for overcoming children stuttering by specialists (speech therapists, psychologists and neurologists); cooperation specialities between specialists and parents; also opinion of stuttering children parents about influence of specialists helping them. |
