Abstract [eng] The aim of this paper is to find out the perception and expression of interculturality in educational practice. In this paper the scientific explanations of the definitions of culture and interculturality were identified, also the reasons of vicissitude culture in global world context and theoretical concepts of intercultural education were analyzed. After the content analysis of the action plans of schools it was found out how interculturality was highlighted in schools of Siauliai town and how it was showed in year plans and in virtual space of the institutions. The expression of interculturality in educational practice was identified while analyzing the content of schoolbooks. The meanings that were given to interculturality were found out after the interview with teachers. The research confirmed the hypothesis that the author had formulated – the perception of interculturality in schools is enclosed and understood through the narrow explanation of the definition and expression of intercultural education in practice, also, it is represented through different practice of different cultures.
