Since the electricity supply network can not provide a sufficient energy supply, so I decided to make this work one of the autonomous power sources, i.e. uninterruptible power supply sources (UPS) the investigation of using. Their selection and exploitation is one of the most important tasks, not only designers, but also the ordinary man who decide to buy UPS. In this work are summarized problems of the electricity supply. Identified the basics quality parameters in choosing UPS. Provided a centralized and decentralized uninterruptible network of power sources advantages and disadvantages. Described all types of the UPS: „Off-line\", \"Line-Interactive“ and „On-Line\" structural schemes, operating principles, functions, pointing out their strengths and weaknesses. Produced the main power network quality parameters, and indicated the power supply disturbances affect the computer‘s equipment. Questionnaire survey method assessed UPS users approach. Was done an experimental study of the UPS, a summary of measurement results. Presented the batteries of the UPS longevity dependence on ambient temperature and load. Summarized the research and survey results. Produced the recommendations on the choice of UPS. The thesis consist – of 68 pages, text without annexes, 38 pictures, 8 tables. |
