Abstract [eng] Work‘s size: 82 pages, 11 pictures, 23 charts, 78 references The main objective of this paper is to investigate the impact of transformational and servant leadership style on employee proactive behavior, mediating by empowerment and moderating general employee self-efficacy and to identify model's direct and indirect connections. The thesis consists of three main parts: review of scientific literature, methodology of empirical study and analysis of results of the accomplished study, discussion, conclusions and suggestions. Following techniques were used to achieve the goal of the thesis. The literature review provided definitions of thesis objects, their context, traits, meaning and factors influencing the objects of study. A quantitative study was chosen to execute, consisting of 5 constructs. The study involved 240 respondents and identified the effect of demographic characteristics on study model constructs. Regression analysis was performed using the A.Hayes SPSS process macro plug-in. 15 model was used. Relationships were found between the transformational and servant leadership style, proactive employee behavior, mediated by empowerment and moderated by general employee self-efficacy. The main objective of the study is to evaluate the connection between transformational leadership style, servant leadership style and proactive behavior and the influence of empowerment and general self-efficacy on this connection. The conclusions of thesis present the results of the empirical study, confirmed and rejected hypotheses as well as scientific insights, gained during the reseach. Based on the research results, a direct connection between transformational leadership and proactive behavior was rejected, and a significant connection was identified between servant leadership style and proactive employee behavior. The moderating effect between servant leadership and proactive behavior as well as the moderating effect between empowerment and proactive behavior were rejected. However, moderating effect between transformational leadership style and proactive behavior was confirmed. Mediation was found to have a stronger effect at high levels of general self-efficacy. The work can be used to develop futher scientific researches. It also can be used as a guideline for organisations seeking to foster proactive employee behavior in their companies.
