Abstract [eng] Work‘s size: 79 pages, 4 pictures, 19 charts, 81 references The main objective of this work is to analyze perspectives on employee engagement, aiming to determine how self-efficacy, autonomy, frequency of remote work, and work-life balance influence employee engagement while working remotely. The structure of the paper consists of five main sections, including a review of scientific literature, the methodology of the empirical study, analysis of the conducted research and its results, summarization, conclusions, recommendations, and a scientific literature review. In the review of scientific literature, essential concepts are examined, and models and factors influencing the study objects are presented. To achieve a more comprehensive understanding, a quantitative study was chosen, consisting of five constructs. The study involved 314 respondents, and during the analysis of the results, the impact of demographic characteristics on the four main variables was evaluated. Regression analysis was conducted using A. Hayes' SPSS process macro plug-in, employing 29 models. The study revealed discernible relationships between self-efficacy and engagement, wherein the influence was found to be mediated by work-life balance. Moreover, the impact was observed to be further nuanced as it was moderated by factors such as autonomy and the frequency of remote work. The primary aim of the study is to explore the impact of self-efficacy, autonomy, frequency of remote work, and work-life balance on employee engagement in Lithuanian and Ukrainian organizations. In the conclusions, empirical research results are presented, hypotheses are validated, and scientific findings are provided. Based on the study results, it was found that the relationship between self-efficacy and engagement is independent of the mediator, work-life balance, but a confirmed moderating effect was observed, excluding one moderate relationship. The conducted work can be considered a valuable tool for future research, providing recommendations for organizations aiming to implement remote work practices more effectively and enhance the engagement level of their employees.
