The review of the scientific literature presents the concept of human resources management tools associated with the AMO theoretical model, together with the definitions, concepts and connections of the intellectual capital of employees, performance of work activities and work results with the application of management tools. Next, the author presents the research model based on the literature analysis. Then a further analysis is carried out, which aims to evaluate the impact of the application of human resources management tools on work results by mediating the intellectual capital of employees and the performance of activities. In order to assess the impact, a quantitative study was conducted, during which 263 respondents working in both the public and private sectors in Lithuania were interviewed. Data were managed and using IBM SPSS software data was evaluated with construct reliability analysis, normality and significance tests, regression and mediation analysis. The results of the study showed that the influence of human resources management tools on the results of employees' work is mediated by intellectual capital of employees and the performance of activities. 76 The direct impact of the application of management measures on work results is insignificant. Also, the obtained results prove that the application of management measures aimed at improving work results is manifested in an indirect way - through the intellectual capital of employees and the performance of activities, where the most significant mediation is manifested in the influence of the intellectual capital of employees.
