Abstract [eng] The aim of the master’s thesis: To analyze the companies and their information systems and determine the influence of IT governance frameworks and processes on information systems management. The master’s thesis consists of two main parts, namely literature analysis, which reviews the literature on IT governance frameworks, their use, shortcomings and advantages, on IT governance systems, the relationship between IT governance and IT governance processes and frameworks. The second part of the work consists of a description of the qualitative research, the description of the participating companies, the questionnaire design and its analysis, and the description and summary of the results. Additional parts of the work are introduction, conclusions and list of literature sources. In order to achieve the aim of the master’s thesis and answer the problem and research assumptions, the following methods were used: Literature analysis - this method allowed to perform a theoretical analysis of the master’s thesis topic, which contributed to a deeper understanding of IT governance and its processes, as well as information systems management effectiveness. Qualitative research - this method helped to collect more individualized data. Questionnaire - an empirical research method that was used to obtain data from quantitative and qualitative research. Interview - a qualitative research method that was used to collect data needed to confirm or reject the research hypothesis. The main results of the master’s thesis are: after performing the literature analysis, it was determined that IT governance frameworks and processes are a complex and expensive solution in the company, but it is an effective way to manage the company’s activities, processes, and align them with business goals. It was also determined during the analysis of scientific literature that IT governance frameworks have a direct impact on information systems management by setting clear boundaries and guidelines on how management processes should be in the company, what they need, how they should be applied in real cases. After conducting a qualitative research, it was determined and using 3 assumptions to develop it, the results showed that companies that use IT governance framework or processes successfully carry out their activities, employees stated that the use of processes helps them to perform their daily activities better, the work has more clarity and structure, which allows them to work more efficiently and faster. It was also determined that although IT governance frameworks and processes limit the company’s activity management by certain processes and boundaries, proper selection of processes that match the company’s vision, activity and desired result, does not limit the company’s improvement, growth, innovation adoption, but rather allows to see certain gaps in processes or systems that need to be changed or redone.
