Abstract [eng] Organization, which chiefs has a view of future perspective, create the plans of long lasting work and try to reduce the risk of activities, to intensify competition, has to have a view of plans creation, which base is stable and long lasting work relations with mutual - organization's and worker's -interest. Strategy of personnel does preconditions, which can be valued more carefully. And it let to accent the main organization's competitive advantage successfully — professional workers — to search the aims of organizations. In uninterrupted organizations work procession the special importance is work with personnel, as main guaranty of organization success. How the best collective can be formed? What workers have to be selected? By what principle they can be selected from the wide range of applicants? Those are the questions of personnel selection that must be solved by the system of organization's personnel selection and its executives. The investigation object of this paper is Joint-stock Company \"Lietuvos draudimas\" in Šiaurės region. The aim of the paper is to study the theoretical material about processions of personnel selection, to analyze the existing course of personnel selection in Joint-stock Company \"Lietuvos draudimas\" of Šiaurės region and to provide opinion about it and its perfection.
