The theoretical part of Master’s paper presents the concept of social stratification and analyzes social stratification theory. There is also presented the concept of social strata, distinguished main features of the social strata, based distribution to the social strata necessity. The paper analyzes the public social structure in foreign countries, presents social stratification criteria of Lithuanian population. The practical part of the paper presents social strata criterious, identified social strata trend range also analysis characteristics between social strata and substrata. A research hypothesis, about existence of poor middle-class society in Lithuania, and no homogeneity in the dirrection in development of society , is approved by the author. Submitted directions and devices how to strengthen middle-class. |
