In the present Master’s Thesis, there are researched the quality development of criminality prevention and activities of the police office. In the fist theoretical part, there are analysed the concept of criminality prevention, the most important rends of prevention and control, performed the research of the quality development of prevention, assessment of the existing state, performed the analysis prevention of crimes related with drugs and youth criminality. In the second part, there are considered the legal basis of crime prevention, the tendencies of criminality, the reasons and conditions of crimes, performed the analysis of internal and external factors, presented the analysis of the results of the survey of officers. Further, the activities of the police office are analysed by the sectors of activities, performed the analysis of internal factors of the police office. In the paper, the mission, the strategical objectives, the main tasks and functions of Radviliškis District Police Office have been justified. In the present Master’s Thesis, there are formed theoretical and methodical assumptions to preparation of the district system of criminality control and prevention and ensuring of its implementation in consideration of the prognostications and perspectives of social, economical and political development and the criminogenic state of the law system of the state of Lithuania integrating into the economical and legal structures of the European Union. In the Masters’ thesis, the following essential statements have been substantiated: 1. The following essential statements describe the criminality situation registered by Radviliškis District Police Office: juvenile and youth criminality in Radviliškis District is high and tends to increase; the number of felonies related with organised criminality and drugs grows; the traffic situation does not improve within the district, especially in Radviliškis Town. 2. The strategy of quality development of criminality prevention of Radviliškis District Police Office is characterised by the following strategic objectives: prioritised attention shall be paid to juvenile and youth criminality prevention; to strengthen prevention, disclosing and investigation of serious criminal acts related with organised criminality, drugs and criminality, when a huge damage is made to persons and the state, in Radviliškis District; improvement of the situation of safe traffic in Radviliškis District. In the present Master’s Thesis, there are 15 tables and 18 pictures. At the end of the paper, the conclusions and recommendations, the list of literature, annexes are presented. |
