Abstract [eng] |
There are many computer software solutions that help to perform tasks faster, easier and simpler and to better understand the results, so it is important to implement them in the teaching process in order to develop students' information technology skills and facilitate the teaching process. Modeling three-dimensional (3D) objects in the process of teaching nature provides an opportunity to replace two-dimensional pictures, helps to understand complex and invisible structures in nature, for example, cells, so it is important to include 3D modeling in the teaching process in order to improve students' understanding and increase interest in the educational process. This paper examines a scientific problem – how to effectively create 3D objects and use them for teaching nature knowledge? The aim of the study is to analyze the principles of creating 3D objects and the possibilities of their application in the process of nature education and to determine which 3D modeling software is the most convenient for creating 3D models for teaching nature knowledge in schools. In order to determine the most convenient 3D modeling software for creating a 3D model of a typical cell structure, a comparative analysis of “Tinkercad”, “SketchUp” and “Blender” programs was performed. After conducting research, it was found that the most convenient way to create a 3D model is to use the “SketchUp” software, because it has a clear and easy-to-understand user interface, has all the necessary functions for modeling and the possibility of automatic drawing, which facilitates modeling for school-aged children. |
