Today Schools are trying to use information technology to organise their activities more effectively. Communication and data exchange are important factors in this part and can be well implemented using MS Office 365 tools. The aim of this master’s thesis is to analyse thoroughly the communication and data exchange tools of MS Office 365 and to give particular examples of how they can be applied in a school. The thesis consists of six main parts. The introduction describes the aim, objectives, research object and methods of the thesis. The first section discusses the importance of communication and data exchange in an educational context, while the second section provides an overview of the MS Office 365 platform and its capabilities. The third chapter deals with specific communication and data exchange tools in the MS Office 365 environment. The developed application methodology and scenarios are presented in chapter four and the design of the environment is presented in chapter five. The sixth chapter is devoted to practical application examples, where practical cases of MS Office 365 registration, environment creation and administration are presented, as well as a discussion on how to apply this environment to Radviliškis Vincas Kudirka progymnasium. The paper concludes a presentation of the thesis results. The structure of this master’s thesis provides a solid basis for a more in-depth evaluation of MS Office 365 tools in school communication and data exchange processes. |
