The main purpose of this study is to analyze Klaipeda‘s county Police Headquarters Traffic Police units human resources management pecularities. Research can help for public sector organizations to improve human resources management, thus warranty for provision of public services the rise of value. The first part of this study looks at human resource and its management concept theory, and human resource management in Klaipeda‘s county Traffic Police units. The study of human resources management revealed the provisions of police officers, material and non-material incentives for officers are the same way promoting to work in the public services and identified factors which would help to improve the system of incentives: preventive and educational activities which would raise society trust in the police and officers satisfaction with their own work, good climate in the organization, adequate and equitable evaluation of the activity in terms of money, relating payment to work results, working in a team. |
