Abstract [eng] |
The present Master’s Thesis deals with the analysis of factors conditioning economic growth and the ways these factors affect the gross domestic product and gross value added. Segments of industry and construction were selected from the structure of the Lithuanian gross surplus value, the criterion for selection being the fact that the increase/decrease of the chosen segment was most visible. The theoretical part of the paper deals with the investigation of models of economic growth presented in scientific literature. The analytical-investigative part of the paper includes several types of analyses of factors, conditioning the economic growth of the selected segments: a dynamic analysis; a regression and correlation analysis; an analysis of indicators showing whether the economic growth is in a harmonious process. A SWOT analysis, based on the results of the investigation, was completed. Statistical data taken from the Department of Statistics to the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and commercial banks’ reviews was used in the research. |
