Abstract [eng] The theoretical part of the analysis of students of special needs has been done according to their motivation to learn. The hypothesis has been made “the main reason of having students and teachers no motivation to learn is a lack of pedagogical support team help”. With the help of the questionnaire a research has been made in order to analyze the main reasons of students of special needs who do not have motivation to learn at school and allow the pedagogical support team to create the plan for helping them to engage in rising motivation. The statistical analysis has been done. 120 students of special needs and 80 teachers of secondary school took part in this research. The reasons of students of special needs having no motivation to learn as well as peculiarities and abilities of pedagogical support team were analyzed in empirical part. The main conclusions of empirical research have been drawn: Students of special needs have indicated the main reasons of teaching and learning problems: too many students in the class, too much homework and general learning difficulties. It can be stated that a modified program is always written but used rarely. Lots of students and teachers who took part in this research agree that they usually do not realize their potential in order to achieve better results. This factor determines low level of knowledge and negative evaluation. Questionnaire of students of special needs showed that stress, fears and worries appear in students’ families. Unsafe atmosphere has got a great influence on students’ motivation to learn. Professional advice and ability to create safe atmosphere in secondary schools are appreciated positively by students of special needs. According to students, the most serious problem is that there is not a psychologist and a logo pedagogue at school. Collected data show that collaboration and communication with parents are the weakest side. Parents frequently do not participate in education of their children. The hypothesis that the main reason of having students and teachers no motivation to learn is a lack of pedagogical support team help has been proved partly. Team education decreases students’ motivation to learn. Key words: students of special needs, learning and teaching difficulties, reasons of no motivation, pedagogical support team.
