Abstract [eng] Modern Lithuanian society is still holding on classic and old-fashioned attitudes. Stagnation, closure and conservatism are the main features with which are described Lithuanians (Lithuanian people). However, everyone gets free when realizes that his personal identity is not identified (personality is not identified), and (the most easiest to do that is to hide the faces ) it is easiest to do by hiding the face. Human clothing (is one kind of mask that people are using each day and changing depending of mood and prevailing (popular) trends) is a kind of mask that everyone everyday wear and change depending on the prevailing trends and moods change. Art- design project „Behind the STOP line“, (witch is composite (maded of 6 details – costumes, photo montages, video- interview, video- film and alive performance) consisting of masks - costumes, 6 photo montages, Video interview, video and performance (This master degree work is the designer view to long time, psychologs, sociologs filosofs and others, to anglysis of masks that are inside of human (persons)) - a designer's approach to long-time psychologists, sociologists, philosophers, etc. analysis of the human inner mask. The project is shown the possibility of human freedom coating face mask, tuned to a particular role, the role of inner dock to the surface. Mask - a symbol full of opposites, which often overflow so easily with each other and provide endless interpretation.
